Oracle Communications is pleased to announce the General Availability of Release 7.1 of the Oracle Communications Evolved Communications Application Server.

Oracle Communications Evolved Communications Application Server(OCECAS) allows service providers to augment their communications services by driving subscribers to high-value data plans that leverage more innovative Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Video over LTE (ViLTE) and Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) offerings. OCECAS allows such innovative services to be reliably deployed at internet speed and cost, bringing many advantages, such as:
• Seamless reliability – delivery of consistent, comprehensive and extensible out-of-the-box IMS applications across LTE, WiFi and legacy networks.
• Independent innovation – transformation of the service layer into an open, powerful and programmable architecture not hindered by the limitations of architectures designed for traditional voice.
