FSG Template Has a Disconnect With Custom Column Headers and the Report

We recently upgraded our server from 32 bit to 64 bit.   Since then, I cannot change my fsg template with custom column headers.  When I do, the entire report comes back with the format mask instead of values.  Has anyone else experience this, and how did you work around it?   I used to have custom column headers all the time.
