Changing item attribute from soft pegging to hard pegging

We are on 12.2.3 and have a requirement to change the item attribute of items in a certain inventory organization from soft pegging to hard pegging sothat project orders do not steal material from other projects andcan only use material in the same project.

Are there any instructions available on how one can make this transition from soft pegging to hard pegging.what are the taska once may have to do before the item attribute can be changed to hard pegging from soft pegging.
