Hi Guys,

How to start the sendmail in Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5 (Santiago) server. I tried below steps as per google blogs but it didn't work. Please let me know how to do it.

Linux

/etc/init.d/sendmail start

[root@hostname sbin]# /etc/init.d/sendmail start

-bash: /etc/init.d/sendmail: No such file or directory

[root@hostname sbin]# ll /usr/sbin/sendmail

lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 21 Mar 31  2014 /usr/sbin/sendmail -> /etc/alternatives/mta

#cd /sbin/init.d/

#./sendmail stop

Sendmail pid is 1498

Killing sendmail

Please wait .....

Sendmail killed.

#./sendmail start

/etc/mail/aliases: 7 aliases, longest 9 bytes, 88 bytes total

Howdy, Stranger!
