Asset depreciation with 2 conditions

Hi,

Responsibility:: Fixed Assets

Release:: 12.1.3

We have the following scenario about Asset and we need a suggestion:

"Our customer will depreciate assets if the date placed in service of the asset is between 1-15 of the month,

and

he will not depreciate if date placed in service of the asset is between 16-30(or 31) of the month."

I was thinking to configure the prorate calendar as below to achieve the requirement, i.e:

From Date          To Date          Prorate Date

01.01.2015          15.01.2015     31.01.2015

16.01.2015          31.01.2015     28.02.2016

.......

Am I right? Please advise.
