Revision not populating on ECO form

We are on R12

Under Engineering --> ECO --> Fill the relevant details and click on Revised Items button.

Once you enter/Select the Item in the Revised Items form, The Item Rev is auto populated when the Revision is numeric but its not auto populated when the Item revision is Alpha numeric unless the cursor is on the Revision field

This causes some concern, when we deal with a large ECO / Mass Change when there are more than 100 lines

2. Also, the description that we enter on the ECO is not populated to the description on the Revised Items form, is this a Gap
