Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Difference between Document Number and Subledger Document Sequence Number

Hi All,

I'm R12.1.3

Can you please advise me on the difference between the Document Number in GL & the Subledger Document Sequence Number?

Document Number ---> The document number which I'm referring to is the Document Number which can be seen on the Journal Entry (which is got created from AP Invoice-create accounting)

Subledger Document Sequence Number---> The Subledger Document Seq.Number I'm referring to is the sequence we assigned to the AP Standard Invoice in System Administration responsibility. (Sequential Number - Assign)
