Calculate Price Flag setup to Freeze Price for Sales Orders

Hello Team,

We have a requirement to set the Calculate Price Flag to 'Freeze Price' for specific Order Types/Line Types. We are trying to accomplish this using Defaulting Rules based on Line Type, however it does not seem to be working as intended i.e. the flag remains as 'Calculate Price'.

Is there a way to default this field at all..

Please note that these are sales orders created in Order Management directly and not imported from a different source.
