How to make READ Broadcast messages to UNREAD from Notification list

Hi,

I am trying to configure a checkbox or a link on the Notification list so that user can select a message and mark it as UNREAD, but they are not displaying on the notification list to update message. do we have any other alternative way or configuration to display checkbox in the list and to mark it as UNREAD.
