Why planned orders still there on MPS/MRP workbench eventhough the item has been inactivated

Hello All,

We inactivated the FG which was a MPS planned item . When the next run of the MPS plan, the demand/planned order is still available on MPS workbenchwith out any change eventhough item has been inactivated. Please let me know whether is it a seeded functionality . Do we need to do  customization to cancel existing planned orders while inactivating the item .

FYI- When we tried to release the planned order , the 'implement as ' LOV is defaulting into None and we were unable to implement it.
