EBS - Projects - restrict lines to get interfaced to Assets

I've a question - I create a Lease in FA -> get interfaced to AP (it has the POET info ) and capitalized cost -> get's interfaced to Projects -> interfaces to FA? Does that mean we are double booking the cost against the Asset?

If I don't want the lines to be interfaced back to FA - can I flag certain transactions to not interface to Assets?
