Adding an Equipment event

Hello,

I am trying to add an equipment event in the system; (by following the navigation: Shipment Management->Equipment Management -> Equipment -> Actions -> Shipment Management -> Events -> Add Event).

An event is generated. But when I am trying to view that event on that equipment through the smartlink 'View Equipment Events'. I can't find any event.

Can anybody suggest me that where am I making the mistake?
