Is it true that ACA 1094C employee names cannot contain apostrophes?

I believe the IRS is not allowing apostrophes in employee names, which means the 1094C employee name will not match the 1095C employee name, which had no such restrictions.  Is JDE program R08150 going to remove apostrophes, or are the customers supposed to edit the xml file to change employee name?
