We set up RMAN backup everyday. Saturday midnight, the RMAN backup ran in the middle and got the below error. I checked the alert log message, there were no database shutdown message or anything. I tried to take a look at the listener log. But there were not one under $ORACLE_HOME/network/log How can I go about investigate this? How can I find out whether the listener log is set to be on? The same day after this RMAN error message. The database crashed with ora-00494 message.
