How can you create a deep link (URL) to specific eBS functionality

We have a few applications that we need our users to be able to launch directly from icon that can be accessed externally.  On clicking on the icon the user will be forwarded to authentication (if not already authenticated) then should be forwarded to the application without having to navigate via responsibilities on the eBS home page.

Examples of the applications we would like to open in this way;

- iExpenses

- Time Booking

- iProcurement

Using the function, responsibility and app ID is not working when the user is not already authenticated as they are re-directed to the eBS homepage.
