How to set up intercompany balancing between ledgers?

Is it possible to set up intercompany balancing between balancing segment values in different legal entities and in different ledgers?

I have successfully set up balancing between BSVs/LEs in the same ledger.  But when the BSVs/LEs are in different ledgers, each ledger does not recognize the other ledgers BSV as a valid value.
