Looking For Detailed Information, Especially Examples, of Multi-Task Job and the Usage of Error Hand

Greetings,  I would like to leverage the Error Handler Task component of the Mult-Task Job.  Multi-Task job is rather lacking in reporting the Status - Success/Failed.  For example, if you have 3 tasks and either the first and/or second task FAILS and the last task completes as Success, then the Job in the Job Activity reports "Success".  This is rather misleading and I'd hope that Oracle would have gotten their act together with OEM 13c and changed this to "Failed" instead of "Succeeded" Status.

I'd like to look into using the "Error Handler Task" as a means to Alert a problem as it seems this may be its intention.  HOWEVER, I do not see any good documentation or Examples of its use.  Preferably, I'd like to send via eMail alert notification for handling the situation as I described in my first paragraph.  If anyone has any example to effectively use "Error Handler Task" and send out email or intentionally cause that task to Fail so that at least I can have some way of knowing that my Multi-Task job has a problem with one
