Unable to Close Ap Period

Hi all
I am unable to close my AP Period for May-16. After sweeping all the transactions to Jun-16, the Period Exception Report and Unaccounted Transaction report does not reflects any invoices outstanding, Yet the Period is not closing.
The period closed fine last month. The only change made this month was i upgrade to RPC 6 last week. Could this be the reason for it. If yes what could be the possible solutions to resolved this issue ASAP. The period is still opened and I am unable to run the Accurral process from Purchasing.
