Resize ASM diskgroups on Oracle Database Appliance - Move space allocation of RECO diskgroup and al

Can someone provided step by step process to achive this on ODA x4? We have configured ODA with "Typical" configuration and would like to change Database Backup Location to External - to be able to reclaim some space from +RECO diskgroup. Also, Is there any challenges experienced by any one while attempting this? Thanks.

Note: I have reviewed document 1514604.1 - This query to to get some more details on the process and understand if there are any challenges.
