Updating Planner Database

Dear Community,

I am trying to perform a Deployment Server OS upgrade and as part of the steps I need to update a couple of tables in the JDEPLAN database to reflect the new Deployment Server name. Does anyone know how can I open the Planner database to update these files? The Doc ID 659735.1 states ... "

  • SQL Tools can be used to modify and write SQL statements directly against MSDE or SSE databases just like a full SQL version."

But I am not sure what SQL tools I can use. I tried using the Oracle SQL Developer but it throws errors stating it cannot open. MS Access 2013 does not give me the feature to open the DBF files. I even tried MS Access 2010 but that one is also giving me errors stating cannot find the database you are trying to open.
