Executing instructions in Doc ID 1929899.1 - What should I do about missing files?

I created an SR:  3-12213586031 after I received an error in the postpatch section of applying the 22191349 patch (Jan2016 patch for 12.1.0.2) to a standalone Grid and database.  Oracle recommended that I follow the instructions in Doc ID 1929899.1 to manually remove the ACFS driver files as root user.

My problem is, in the second and third steps of the instructions:

2. Modify the following files: /usr/lib/methods/ucfgacfsctl, /usr/lib/methods/ucfgadvmctl, /usr/lib/methods/udefacfsctl, /usr/lib/methods/udefadvmctl, change "ORA_CRS_HOME=" from old 11.2 GRID_HOME to 12.1 GRID_HOME

3. Run the following commands to complete deinstallation of old ACFS version:
