User Can Enter an Exp Rpt Line Description Over Character Limit

We recently upgraded to 9.2 Image 11, PeopleTools 8.54. When a user creates an expense report and expands the Description field on the expense line the user is able to enter characters over the character limit of 254. The character value changes to a negative number after they exceed the limit. If the user then clicks the "Return" button they receive an error stating the character limit has been exceeded, however when they click the "Ok" button from the error message they are returned to the main create report page and not returned to the expanded description window.
