trying to add the volume into the registry

The register command is failing with the following error.

/sbin/acfsutil registry -a  /dev/asm/dg1acfvol1-95 /acfs_scripts
PRCA-1089 : Unable to retrieve volume and disk group for volume device path /dev/asm/dg1acfvol1-95
PRCA-1051 : No volume resource registered with CRS for specified diskgroup or volume name or volume device
acfsutil registry: ACFS-03111: unable to add ACFS mount /acfs_scripts within Oracle Registry

Here is the volume at the OS level.

brwxrwx--- 1 root asmadm 252, 48641 Jun 4 17:50 dg1acfvol1-95

Here is the volinfo

Volume Name: DG1ACFVOL1

         Volume Device: /dev/asm/dg1acfvol1-95

         State: ENABLED

         Size (MB): 8192
