Enter different SN# at wip job completion than SN# issued to wip job

Hello,

Observed a behavior in depot repair  tech portal and want to check if this is intended behavior.

Create a repair order for SN# 100.

Received SN# 100 to Depot subinv

Issue SN# 100 to wip job.

At wip job completion changed SN# from 100 to 200.

Wip job got completed without any issue.

This is for an end product which is coming in for repair .

Want to know if the above behavior is as expected. Attached screenshot for reference.

Is there any way if we want to control serial number which is issued to wip job be the one to be allowed at wip job completion too.
