Keeping xref of customer batch vs internal batch

One of our customers have requested for us to print their lot number on our packing list, invoice etc instead of printing our own. Is there such function in JDE which allows us to store/trace customer's lot number vs our own JDE lot numbers? I know there is xref to store customer part numbers vs JDE part numbers, but i have not seen such function for lot numbers.

I am hoping to keep away from customization, if possible.
