Performance Issue when Creating an Expense Report

We are on version 9.2 Image 11, Peopletools 8.54 and are experiencing performance issues when creating an expense report with at least 15 lines where all lines are expanded. Each action of populating a field or selecting a dropdown for a field causes the page to process the request. When creating 15-20 lines all expanded it takes around 3-4 seconds to process each individual request. This affects populating the date, expense type, and amount fields as well as adding and deleting a line.
