Can I change Maturity Date once payment is issued

I have issued the payment with Maturity date of Jul-16 but now due to some reasons and internal settlements bank has cleared the payment on 31-May-2016 which is appearing now in the bank statement, I want to reconcile this payment but payment screen is not allowing me to update the maturity date to 31-May-2016 so that I can reconcile this payment.

Can you guide me is there any way to change the maturity date in R12 Payable?
