rman backup failure

hi

our backups are failing due to the below error.

RMAN incremental backup often fails:

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on t1 channel at 03/10/2006 10:42:35

ORA-19502: write error on file "DB_OAUAT02_t584707149_s33_p1_INCR1", blockno 15361 (blocksize=512)

ORA-27030: skgfwrt: sbtwrite2 returned error

ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:

ANS1017E (RC-50) Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure


as per oracle doc


Check the timeout setting for your media manager - in this case the media manager was Tivoli TSM and COMMTIMEOUT was found to be set to just 60 secs

can somebody let me know where will be the above parameter exists in tivoli.
