Possibility of getting oracle report output in CSV format

Hi,

We have an requirement to get the report output in CSV format directly when we save the report output in Local Folders.

Normally report output is generated in Excel and can be saved in CSV format but our client requirement is to generate the report output directly in CSV format.


Note: We are able to generate report output in CSV if we schedule the report and sending report output via e-mails; here we used UTL_FILE command to achieve this, but to get the report output directly in CSV not sure how to get this..


Please advise.
