'Virtual' table in Exadata

Please advise are any especially typical for Exadata technology 'virtual' tables which takes place during creation tables that do not yet contain any records?

Probably it usable for Exadata Smart Flash Cache in Write-Back mode? I heard something like that but can't find information.
