.CSV File gets generated with every deployment

Hello Experts, Whenever we deploy an  webcenter ADF application(11.1.1.7) on Weblogic server11g(10.3.6) we see a .csv file gets generated in the /server/logs folder and it happens for each deployment. Wanted to know what is the significance of this and is it really required and if not what is the approach or process to purge these files.
