Is Generic Exit Function available in World A9.2?

I am using JDE standards and processes to develop access and maintenance to a file set and would like to add the ability to link a record to a PDF document stored either in the IFS or Network Drive. Is there a Document Id., Directions, or Example Program that I can use to add the functionality to my new system?
