X4-2 and earlier PRIV_IP conflict?

It seems that the 192.168.17.24 and 192.168.17.25 PRIV_IPs on Bare Metal X4-2 are not so private.  The documentation states that they cannot be accessible or resolvable on your network.

We are deploying an X4-2 into our infrastructure which has an existing 192.168.17.x subnet and active servers on each of these IP addresses.  Are there any workarounds for preventing IP address conflicts?   Unfortunately for us, it will be a major PITA to re-IP these two particular servers.


Oracle support offers no other solution than removing the conflicting IP addresses from the network.
