OPP Down and various concurrent requests failing

Hello,

We're on EBS 12.1.3, running 11.1.0.7 on Solaris SPARC 64bit.

We have a problem on our production system where certain concurrent requests are failing; I think it's the ones that invoke java to generate the output such as XML requests.

The Output Post Processors are also down and we have so far been unable to start them back up. Actual Processes: 0 and Target Processes: 8. This is in the OPP log files:

Unable to initialize state monitor.

oracle.apps.fnd.common.AppsException: oracle.apps.fnd.common.PoolException: Not able to create new database connection: FND

  at oracle.apps.fnd.profiles.Profiles.getProfile(Profiles.java:362)
