Gain or Loss not calculating correctly for Loaded Assets

Hi,

We are on Oracle version 12.2.4. We are in process of implementing the Fixed Asset module.

We have loaded the data for Existing asset through WEB ADI by putting YTD depreciation for Apr-16 and Depreciation Reserve till Mar-16.

When we retire the loaded asset on 31-May-2016, we found that while calculating Gain & Loss the YTD depreciation for Apr-16 which we have loaded was not considered.

So is there any setups in which we need to do changes or it is intended functionality.
