Is oracle Http Server 12.1.3 need Oracle database?

Hi Guys,

I have installed the WLS 12.1.3,Fusion Middleware Infrastructure 12.1.3 & Oracle http server 12.1.3 on the Windows 2k12 R2.

When configuring the http server the screen asking rcu the database information.

Please help is it really needed for Oracle http server? If yes, then which database is needed & also i need to know database client is required or not?
