ASSET DEPRECIATION END_DEPR_DT

I have multiple assets that the depreciation calculation is not correct.  When it happens, the fields END_DEPR_DT, END_DEPR_FY, AND END_DEPR_PD on the Book table are wrong.  In the ones I'm looking at now, the fiscal year and date return the year 2024.  There is no reference to 2024 on any fields in the asset tables.  The LIFE_END_DT from the Book table is 15-DEC-34.  Does the end depreciation date default on some condition?  If so what condition.  The result is that depreciation is not calculated for the full life of the asset.  Any help appreciated.
