One of the RAC Nodes Does not Repond

Hi,

I am installing Oracle 11g R2 RAC on two nodes on Linux 5.8 on VMware workstation. After all the pre-requisites are successfully performed, before I go to intiate grid software installation, RAC node 2 does not respond(even no ping). I have checked my network settings a couple of time and seem fine. TO add further, if I start my RAC node 2 first then RAC node 1 does not respond. You support in this regard is much appreciated.
