Commit Pending Indicator in IP2016

Hi Experts,

We had an information from so many blogs that Commit Pending indicator functionality has been introduced in Siebel IP 2016.

Is the functionality helpful for Account Merge Process. Nowadays we are not getting any indication while account merge process, can we get an  indication (Red Border Applet) till the records get merged in the back end.

If it is helpful, kindly let us know how to enable the functionality and what are the changes needs to be done to get the same.
