Australia and US Tax Type J

When setting up Australia Tax Types, the reference document states that tax Type J should be used for State Payroll Tax.  When a global payroll environment is set up that also processes US payroll in various states AND Australia payroll, Tax Type J would have a conflict.  In the US, Tax Type J refers to State Disability taxes and for AU, Tax Type J indicates the State Tax.  Is there a conflict if two J tax types are setup and consequently processed?
