SIM - Is there a way to restrict transactions involving closed stores ?

SIM treats closed stores similiar to open stores on all transactions. We want to restrict users from picking up closed stores for a transaction.

It can be partially controlled by removing the closed store from the user's store list but it has to be a custom interface to delete the closed stores. Still it doesn't prevent the users from choosing the closed store as a "to_store" in a transfer.

is there an in-built feature that can be used to restrict transactions on closed stores. this or a simple way to handle this ?

I think this is an issue irrespective of different SIM versions.
