MTU Setting for PCA (private cloud appliance)

We have PCA 2.1.1 running 3.4.10 OVM and OEL UEK2 kernel(3.8.13-118.4.2.el6uek.x86_64).  We will be running 11gR2 RAC OVM on this PCA.  We want to set the private interconnect interface MTU to an appropriate value to support RAC. Is the value 9000 or 16k?
