how do i populate default value in user access list in web center content

Hi Guys,

Please help me to understand this.

In new check in form I have to make user access list populate the default value which is in author's field..ie For example my author's field is weblogic means the user access list should automatically populate weblogic(r/w/d/a) without my choosing.and the user access list must not be empty.It must has default value as author.how to do it?
