solaris 11.3 critical patch update problems

Since updating my kernel zone from 11.2 to 11.3 with the updated repository we have experience a slow cold backup process. The copy process is taking 3 x longer than previously. The oracle database is 11g enterprise edition 2.03. We have rolled back and proved the timing again and reapplied the patches and the problem persits. We are running this on a T5-2 sparc box.
