Dynamic Time Series - SmartView

I am trying to check the dynamic time series functionality. I did select the time dimension member (Accounting Period) and in the member selection, I did select 'Dynamic Time Series' and I couldn't see any values. Where as , if i select the option 'Hierarchy' i could see all the accounting periods.

Can some one let me know, how do we enable / create dynamic time series members.

Appreciate your inputs.
