Automatic calculation of penalty charges

Hello,

We are implementing OTM on a client which is itself a freight forwarder. It usually charges penalty on certain shipments because of any kind of halting or excessive waiting of the shipments from there customers. In the same way it gets charged for any delays of shipments.

Now can you please tell me that how can anybody please tell me that how can we ensure that the system calculates these kinds of penalties on a shipment automatically.

Please note that we are using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) version 6.4.1 on cloud.
