How can I make the free mb usable mb in ASM?

Hi All,

I am new to ASM and is having the below issue.

We needed to add space to our existing DATA disk group. This was done by adding 4 sets of 500GB to the DATA disk group. Our environment is RAC 2-node on Oracle Linux 6.5 and Oracle 12.1.0.2. The problem now is that the disks are classified as free but not usable as seen below. Any ideas on how to make this usable will be highly appreciated. I try reading on rebalance but not understanding clearly.
