applying the Apr PSU in a RAC and DataGuard --help

Patch 22738793 - Combo of OJVM Component 11.2.0.4.160419 DB PSU + GI PSU 11.2.0.4.160419 (Apr2016)

I have a RAC with DataGuard environment and want to apply this patch.

the OJVM patch states

This patch is not Oracle RAC Rolling installable.

This patch is Database Vault installable. Review My Oracle Support Document 1195205.1 for details on how to apply this patch to a Database Vault environment.

This patch is not Data Guard Standby First Installable.

It does NOT say how to handle the standby database.

my plan is/was to install the patchset on the standby, and then to apply the sql updates on the primary.. now I'm not sure will work
