Is there a Function For Fixed Asset YTD Depreciation by Balancing Segment?

Is there a Function For Fixed Asset YTD Depreciation by Balancing Segment?  I see the fa_query_balances_pkg.query_balances procedure but it appears to provide the amounts by asset and book.  I've also seen the Journal Ledger Reserve Ledger report and that it can report FA amounts by balancing segment but this report is quite involved using temp tables, etc.
