Oracle Bill presentment architecture - issue with external template - need help

Hi,

I downloaded a BPA template from "external templates" by in-completing the external template, downloading the .rtf file and completing the external template. Without making any further changes, when I run the BPA program to print an invoice/credit memo, I get the below error. In trying to resolve this error, I started removing xml tags one by one to see which ones are causing the issue. finally what I found out is, if I introduce any xdoxslt functions like <?xdoxslt:format_number(12345,2, $_XDOLOCALE)?>  in the form field browser, it starts giving the error message. Otherwise, If I give the free form xml tags like <?invoice_number?> in the template, then it does not give any error. If I attempt to introduce the xdoxslt function in the free form template, then it does not print a pdf output. I need help in this issue as this is affecting my production
